Safety first

Hazard symbols are pictograms for labeling chemical packagings and containers informing about dangers based on chemical properties like corrosion, flammability and toxicity.

During your microscale experiments follow 15 safety rules. Rule 10 is most important: After the first lighting of a burner practise safe extinguishing of a flame by covering it with a container or with sand.
